Do you think the following would get me into Oxford by a scholarship? I need to know to see if I should apply or just save the embarrassment..9 A*s in IGCSE's
-Maths Extended
-English 1st Language Extended
-Literature
-ICT
-Physics Extended
-Chemistry Extended
-Biology
-EVM (Environmental Management)
-Business Studies
In fact, all of them are extended.
A levels - achieved 4 A's in the following subjects:
-Maths
-Physics
-IT
-Business Studies
Extra Curricular :
3rd speaker of the U-16 national debating team in my country.
Local Federation Basketball Club- Point guard; Average PPG : 16.8, average blocks : 2.62, average steals per game : 4.21, Assists per game : 5.2
Also, independent modifications designer for Quake.
And I worked at Zara clothing.
I look into going to a field such as Computer Engineering.
And if I can get a scholarship, how do I do that? Which institution should I apply to? The Rhodes scholarship doesn't give scholarships for high school graduates from the Middle-East..

What is the criteria for college admissions, how do they choose students? #5
Mohammed, I did a good deal of entrance work for a time. You have to understand that you showed no evidence of having looked at the University's own website, for a start; and there are usually several thousand such enquiries sent out to people in Oxford every year. You haven't said what you want to read, either; scholarship availability varies by subject. The first thing to check is whether you have the right marks and references (academic and personal) to get in to Oxford or Cambridge, at all. Mr. Starkus is not entirely correct about multiple rejections, either: I know many people who were taken at Cambridge but not Oxford and vice-versa. Do some research into which colleges take your subject and which get the best marks (n, e.g., Computer Engineering). If you're incredibly good at this then choose high-flying colleges. If you are more modest, then choose middle-rank colleges.
Oxford and Cambridge tend to look for people who show some initiative, so maybe you need to start there.
And don't be rude to strangers from whom you want help: it's bad manners, bad politics, and indicates that you might find it hard to fit into a collegiate atmosphere and would therefore not be happy.
