Hey,

I've just moved to Oxford from London and am still trying to find my feet. Not knowing anyone here is a little tricky and, being 28, I'd love to know where all the non or ex-students hang out!

Also, I'm currently living in hospital accomodation and am desperate to move somewhere a little more homely - if anyone knows of any rooms for rent, possibly in and around the Cowley road area?

Any advice/ tips/ cool places/ information on Oxford in general would be much appreciated!

Loads of rooms in that area, go in to the local shops, adverts in everyone lol. I live on that road so if you add me as a mate I could gladly help you.

I guess you've found the Zodiac/Carling academy as a music venue? And the Kazbah to eat in or Meli for cook-it-yourself Greek food?
Further afield, the Turf Tavern (has its own fan page on facebook) in town in central, has great beer and very popular, esp when the braziers are going outside...
